Thinking Long Term

Search Engine Optimization program is not a 'get rich quick', nor is it a short-term activities that only provide temporary results with risk is blacklisted by search engines.

The article is part of a series of SEO tutorial does not discuss the ethics of air-SEO, in my opinion (feel free to think otherwise) search engines provide a service, as for the guidelines and policies that they spend is not the 'law' or the regulations, but merely a general statement (general statement ).

General statements are often ambiguous and did not give clear instructions about what to do 'SEO fighters' for keywords they got a coveted ranking in the SERP.
Even so, risking your website by doing optimization as opposed to the policies of search engines and can be detected by search engines is stupid.

There are many better ways to dominate SERP without having to do things that can make your site kicked by Google, Bing or Yahoo.

The pattern of thinking in the long term SEO should be-if you do SEO for short-term profits, then it is NOT SEO, but the trick to exploit the weaknesses of search engines.

SEO is a process that takes time, a number of factors used to determine the position on Google for example, using time as an element of calculation.
Concepts such as link-aging, sandbox (or trustbox, depending on your perspective), quality filters, and domain-aging (do not worry, these concepts will be explained later) to make your site might not be # 1 in an instant - at least not on Google .

For the previous example (Site A and B):
  • Site A will occupy the # 1 position in 1-6 months, depending on what you do and how strong a site that currently occupies the # 1 position.
  • Site B, it takes 6-12 months to reach the top, again depending on how fast you move and what keywords are being targeted.
Basically - SEO takes time to be effective, so whatever you have planned, make sure that the plan is long term and take into account long-term consequences of your actions.

Got Your Thoughts

Often I see SEO experts who follow whatever is taught "teacher", or believe anything said to trust Google as a holy book.
But like what I said earlier - there are many ways to do SEO, and of course there is no 'wrong' or 'right' in SEO. SEO is about the most effective strategies in making your site are top of the search results page (SERP), and that is what should into your focus.

Blindly believe everything that Google or 'SEO teachers' say it is not good. You should consider the opinion of other parties to the contrary, compared with the results you get, and if possible do your own experiments.

One example, which is about the links paid (paid links). Google expressly says that paid links for the purpose of obtaining ranking in search engines can not be tolerated and sites that do so will be penalized, but on the other hand paid links for traffic purposes (direct advertising) it's okay wrote. This raises the debate in the SEO world, whether paid links "right or wrong".

Do not be a slave to Google or anyone else who teaches you about SEO - there is no single magic formula for all situations in SEO, and therefore there is no 'right' or 'false'.

But this also does not mean you have to conflict with Google. You just have to keep an open mind and focus on what proved to be successful and guaranteed to last for the long term.
Do not believe it whatever is said of Google, or the "god of SEO", or me. Note the development of the world of SEO, focus, and dig your own experience.
