Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has denied rumors are ready to bring Chelsea defender, Alex, on the transfer market in January 2012. Wenger confirms the position of central defender is not required at this time the Gunners.
Alex is ready to leave Chelsea in the transfer market after half of the season has not become part of the plan manager Andre Villas-Boas. Villas-Boas even been asked to approve the transfer request that the Brazilian international defender. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly two Premier League clubs are ambitious to get Alex in January 2012. However, news of Alex's plan to bring Arsenal denied by Wenger.
"We will not go into the transfer market to search for a central defender, I can confirm it to you," said Wenger defuse speculation as reported by Sky Sports.
Arsenal's defense is much improved following the arrival of the German national team defender Per Mertesacker. Former Werder Bremen defender was assessed was not a central defender position to look for Arsenal, but full-back.
